I had a Facebook Group for a while, but it wasn't really working for me. I'll be shutting it down in the next week or so.
This weekend, however, I started building the official Cachaçagora page on Facebook. It's already getting pretty close to where I want it .
Here's what readers can expect from here on out:
- The primary Cachaçagora property will be this blog. This is where you're going to get recipes, features, interviews, tasting notes (which I promise to get back to) and so on.
- The Facebook page will provide another forum for discussion of the topics brought up on the blog, plus an extra "light under the door" in terms of what I'm thinking. I'll also be highlighting some flashback posts there.
- Twitter will more or less remain a notification mechanism for people who prefer updates that way. Given the Facebook page and the blog, I'm not sure I'll be engaging too much over there save for any @-replies or direct messages that get sent my way.
Saúde!
