By way of the Vancouver Sun, here is the strawberry and black pepper caipirinha, attributed to Justin Taylor of the Yew Restaurant and Bar at the Vancouver Four Seasons.
- 1 oz. cachaça
- 1/2 oz. black peppercorns
- 4 large, fresh strawberries
- 1/2 oz. lime juice
- 1/2 oz. agave nectar
- Garnish: 1 lime wedge, 1 strawberry, quartered
I realize this is a very late response, but I happened to come across this post about the "creator" of the Strawberry and Black Pepper Caipirinha. I am not a fan of bartenders "borrowing" original recipes from magazine articles and claiming them as their own. This cocktail in particular is one that I have also made after reading about it in Food and Wine magazine, if I am not mistaken.
I would encourage you to edit this post and remove the connection to the "attributed" bartender.

Web rot fixed the problem for me. The link is dead.
Besides, the post is accurate in saying that Canada.Com attributed the drink to Justin Taylor. If you have the source for the actual creator of this recipe, I'd be happy to amend the post.
