My RSS-fed searches for our favorite spirit lit up with Boca Loca while I was in Sydney. Here's a quick recap.
Christopher Null at Drinkhacker gave Boca Loca a "B", noting:
I expect any drinker would have an easy time approaching this cachaca, which tastes and smells not of the spirit’s typical gasoline but rather of charred wood and a touch of caramel. The sugary sweetness is strong in this one, ending on a somewhat bitter note that makes this one of the more curious cachacas to come along in recent months.
Two other folks highlighted Jeffrey Morganthaler's Boca-Loca-based cocktails. The Liquid Muse offers up the Candied Cane, while Doug at The Pegu Blog remixes Jeffrey's Boca Amore Bruise.
I did my own Boca Loca review last September.
Just to clarify, the Candied Cane featured on my home page last week was created by Jeffrey Morgenthaler, too. It is not one of my cocktails. (Giving credit where its due...)

Don't worry, Natalie. I did give credit where due. *8-)
